Week 5: homecoming

The last poem discussed was  "The Shortest and Sweetest of Songs" by George Macdonald.

The Shortest and
Sweetest of Songs

Come
Home.

From The Poetical Works of George MacDonald, 1893.

Like the first poem, this one leaves behind standard format - "another strange one!" - in that the title is longer than the poem. Both groups strongly related to it. It was the only poem that was chosen to be the basis of a film by both Maryhill and Pilton participants.
